    Core role:

    Act as the lead designer across the insurance segment, with responsibility for owning the various visual brands and producing a variety of content and templates across digital and print, including adverts, HTML emails and website banners.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Owning the visual brand (look and feel) of The Insurance Insider as well as other parts of Euromoney’s insurance segment, including spin-off titles Trading Risk and Inside FAC and sister business Reinsurance Security
    • The biggest component of the work is visual design relating to our programme of 50+ events, including: adverts, HTML emails, website banners, mastheads for microsites, handouts/programmes, audio-visual slides, roller banners
    • Work on logo design and devising broader brand visual identity
    • Work on creating HTML emails for publications
    • Visual design work for a range of websites (not coding)
    • Some cover design work for glossy quarterly title IQ
    • Designing media packs and sales brochures
    • Business cards and letterheads
    • Design work on supplements and roundtables


    • Advanced Photoshop [most important], advanced Illustrator
    • 5+ years’ design experience
    • Publishing background preferable
    • HTML experience desirable
    • InDesign experience desirable
    • Knowledge of Keynote
    • Some experience of Dreamweaver or similar programme desirable


    • Highly creative individual, capable of illustrating a wide range of different themes and subject matter, including abstract content
    • Digital design focus rather than print
    • Effective time management and prioritisation
    • Ability to work with all parts of the business (editorial, marketing, events, sales, research) and be responsive and flexible
    • Ability to work to tight deadlines
    • Ability to learn new systems, including third-party CMS Ion
