    Institutional Investor Research (IIR), the research arm of Institutional Investor, is recognized as the leading enabler of unattributed, qualitative feedback, for all three sides of the investment community (Buy-side, Sell-side and Corporates). This typically covers Research services, Sales, Corporate Access, Trading and Investor Relations services. We are seeking a Manager of Advisory Product to implement the development of our advisory product offering.


    Institutional Investor acquired Extel in 2018 and we are evolving the product from a survey & rankings business based on data sales and subscriptions, into an advisory model that aims to integrate the intelligence gathered during the survey process into the workflow of clients across the equities community. We are embarking on an exciting growth journey across our business, and are looking for a candidate with the innovation, experience and drive to create and support these overall growth objectives.


    The successful candidate will have a crucial part to play in the evolution of IIR to a fully integrated platform that is embedded within client business workflows.



    • Demonstrated expertise in building at pulling together insightful analysis from data.
    • Ability to synthesize industry trends into actionable business solutions.
    • Very strong Excel and Powerpoint skills, able to manipulate large-scale data.
    • Macros or coding with SQL or equivalent that can be applied in Excel.



    • Analytical, numerate, organized & able to multi-task.
    • A creative and collaborative mind set.


    • Proven track record of creating new, data orientated products


    • Education – undergraduate degree.

    Your role will require you to:

    • Develop the advisory product for three sides of the platform, Buy-side, Sell-side and Corporate under the direction of the Head of Advisory. This will involve collaborative discussions over customer requirements and evolving those requirements into production.
    • Identify and drive the business planning and execution of improvements to current output, to create new insights.
    • Be familiar with existing and emerging analytical technologies, and how to successfully leverage a suite of applications to drive overall insight and targeted user engagement.
    • Work collaboratively with Technical and Operations teams (including IT architecture and system developers).
