    About the Role:

    Reactions (, part of Euromoney Institutional Investor’s Specialist Information division, is looking for a motivated and talented Junior Account Executive to join our team in New York and support the continued growth of the business.  You will be responsible for managing the Reactions subscription database and prospecting for new business while delivering results against a quota.     


    You will report to our Publisher & Commercial Director (CD) in our NY office.

In addition, the Reactions brand hosts a plethora of annual events, conferences, webinars and industry awards spanning the globe.


    Your Responsibilities will Include:

    • Work with the Commercial Director to identify/recommend new business opportunities – this includes new projects, new clients and new relevant business acquisitions
    • Manage and sell on the entire Reactions subscription database and meet yearly quotas
    • Ensure that all personal project sales targets are achieved along with building and maintaining new client relationships
    • Personally sell a minimum of set targets assigned by the Commercial Director for the financial year
    • Make a minimum of 5 hours of calls every week. Peak business selling times are 10am – 12pm & 2pm – 5pm. You are expected to limit time spent on items such as proposals, expenses, and other admin outside of these hours where possible
    • To work closely with the CD in identifying a key hit list of potential sponsors and advertisers
    • Track and record metrics throughout the sales process
    • Travel is required (domestic and international)
    • Exchange regular emails, meetings and telephone calls with the CD on a daily/weekly basis to discuss sales leads, projects and overall business development for the product 
    • Attend any relevant meetings with management as and when required and keep up to date with industry knowledge


    Skills and Experience

    • Strong written, organizational and verbal skills 
    • Creating a sales strategy; experience selling, preferably subscription sales
    • Demonstrated effective communication & negotiation skills
    • Project & time management
    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Comfortable with multi-tasking
    • Ability to meet assigned quotes for the year
