    About the Role:

    Reactions (www.reactionsnet.com), part of Euromoney Institutional Investor’s Specialist Information division, is looking for a motivated and talented Account Executive to join our team in New York and support the continued growth of the business. You will be responsible for managing an existing book of business and prospecting for new clients while delivering results against a quota.    

     

    You will report to our Publisher & Commercial Director (CD) in our NY office.

     

    About Reactions:

    Reactions is an established and reputable pillar of the global insurance industry. We provide the latest breaking news, specialist insight and detailed analysis, integrated across our website, trusted email alerts and print products. In addition, the Reactions brand hosts a plethora of annual events, conferences, webinars and industry awards spanning the globe.

     

    Your Responsibilities will include:

    • Work with the Commercial Director to identify/recommend new business opportunities
    • Manage and sell on the Reactions subscription database, sell events portfolio, digital offerings and monthly edition of the publication
    • Ensure that all personal project sales targets are achieved
    • Sell a minimum of set targets assigned for the financial year
    • To work closely with the CD in identifying a key hit list of potential sponsors and advertisers
    • Track and record metrics throughout the sales process
    • Travel is required (domestic and international)
    • Attend any relevant meetings with management as and when required and keep up to date with industry knowledge

     

    Skills and Experience

    • Strong written, organizational and verbal skills
    • Creating a sales strategy; experience selling, preferably subscription sales
    • Demonstrated effective communication & negotiation skills
    • Project & time management
    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Comfortable with multi-tasking
    • Ability to meet assigned quotes for the year
