The Banking and Finance (B&F) division is responsible for a number of products including Euromoney magazine, Global Capital and Euromoney Learning Solutions. We are looking for a self-motivated individual to take on a hybrid sales/research/executive support role supporting the Divisional Director (in a sales support and team administration capacity) and the Editor of Euromoney magazine (in an editorial assistant role).

This is a diverse role, whose activities will vary from day to day dependent business activities. However, broadly speaking core responsibilities will include:

    • Liaising with our partners/clients to organise meetings and follow up on agreed actions
    • Preparing pre-meeting briefings including external market research, internal publication history and other relevant content
    • Managing queries on behalf of the Divisional Director and Editor while travelling
    • Supporting the Banking and Finance division on internal administration matters such as new joiner activities (in conjunction with Office Manager), system access and events organisation
    • Organising diary, travel, contracts and other support activities
    • Liaising with internal stakeholders to manage attendance at meetings as needed
    • Special projects such as awards co-ordinations

In this newly created position we are looking for a self-starter who will establish an effective way of working with the Divisional Director and Editor. We want someone who thrives on making people’s working lives easier, helping the Divisional Director and Editor deliver their roles with maximum effectiveness. In particular the candidate will have:

    • Strong organisational skills, juggling multiple activities simultaneously
    • Polished written and verbal communication skills
    • The ability to build relationships with internal and external partners
    • A natural curiosity in current affairs to power informed market research
    • A self-motivated approach and ability to operate with minimal supervision
    • A continuous improvement mind-set
    • Awareness of the sensitivity around confidential matters
    • A pro-active approach

We are looking for a candidate with experience in the following areas:

    • Working in a fast paced environment
    • Operating in a support role (either to a team or individuals)
    • Researching topics and creating information packs
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint
